• Worried that your child might believe everything they see online?
• Quite dangerous isn't?
Instead of giving them a list of things to do or not to do, use this book to take them on an adventure as INTERNET DETECTIVES, making it more exciting and much more effective
* Suitable for ages 4-10
This Christmas, join Eric and his sister, Kelly, as they take on the roles of detectives while embarking through the exciting world of the Internet.
The Cyber Spying Glass is a thoughtfully written book designed to help parents teach their children about the importance of staying safe online. In this book, Eric and Kelly introduces the readers to the Internet, a place where we must pay very close attention to the clues presented before us in order to stay safe.
Although the Internet may appear to be a place of wonder and curiosity, Eric and Kelly shows us that it can also be a very dangerous place as the story progresses.
The moral of the story is best reflected in the following quote by Christopher Harris, “Filter a website, and you protect a student for a day. Educate students about online safety in the real world environment, and you protect your child for a lifetime.”
Cyber Spying Glass is the perfect tool to teach young ones just starting to use the internet. Cleverly written, perfect for Christmas, as that is when kids may get their first tablet or computer. I really loved how it was big sister Kelly, who taught her younger brother and in such a wonderful way.
The story is exceptional and unique. I have been a long time fan of Marcus’ books and I have to say this is by far my favorite.
This book breaks down some of parents biggest fears of allowing their children to use the internet.
This book really made it easy to talk to my son about the topic in a way that really informed him not everything is as it seems. It really is a brilliant concept to tell your kids they have to be detectives when it comes to the internet.
