In a world of stress and challenges that even face the youngest of children it can be overwhelming in how to handle pressure. Marcus has given children the answer in a positive, yet powerful way. Truly a remarkable story of how water affects carrots, eggs and teabags and how this simple object lesson can create a very valuable life lesson, one that a child will be sure to remember all their lives.

The story gives concrete examples that children can visualize easily. Parents can even recreate the scene when the main character's father demonstrates different ways to deal with adversity. This would be an excellent activity, especially for young children, because it can engage all of their senses, allowing them to internalize the concepts being taught more effectively.
